Health & Well-Being Program

We are pleased to offer dedicated students of the Alexander Technique the opportunity to undertake a course of study for personal health and well-being within the ACAT Teacher Certification Program.

Health & Well-Being Program students participate in the training class, receive hands-on instruction from the faculty and explore material from the first year curriculum which focuses on use of the self. Students may also have the opportunity to receive hands-on work from third-year students in the program and will join in group and partner explorations. Health and Well-Being participants are not instructed in hands-on or other teaching skills.

Optional Private Lesson Package: Intensive students are also eligible to have a package of ten, 30-minute private lessons from a member of the ACAT faculty at a reduced rate.

Note: Winter 2018 and Spring 2018 classes meet Monday–Thursday, 9 am–12:45 pm and Saturdays from 9:30 to 1:15 pm.
