The American Center for the Alexander Technique (ACAT) invites you to join us for an Open House at our studio on Monday, May 2. Meet our Training Course Director, members of the faculty, current trainees and alumni of the ACAT Training Course who are working in the profession.

Q & A, conversation, and light refreshments .

Learn about America’s first and longest running training course for Alexander Technique Teachers. Close to three hundred teachers have graduated from ACAT’s Teacher Certification Program. Alumni of the program are working nationally and internationally. Find our alumni on the faculty at The Juilliard School, Yale School of Drama, N.Y.U.’s Tisch and Steinhardt Schools, Sarah Lawrence College, The New School, teaching specialized programs for Parkinson’s and movement disorders, health and yoga centers, pain treatment centers and more. Recognized by members of the profession, ACAT teachers are guest lecturers and presenters at International Congresses for the Alexander Technique and at the American Society for the Alexander Technique’s annual meetings and conferences.
